PRACTICE FOR PRESERVATION

Picture

Practice for Preservation
is a wellness series that invites you to move, breathe, and reconnect in Philadelphia’s most historic spaces, all while supporting the Young Friends of the Preservation Alliance(YFPA). Join Jacq for a movement and mindfulness practice inspired by Vinyasa Yoga, followed by a restorative sound bath savasana, all set within the iconic buildings that capture the essence of the city’s rich history and spirit. Our kick off event was held on May 15 at Carpenters' Hall and the theme was "Honor Your Own Architecture."

Honoring your own architecture means recognizing and embracing your own inner structure that supports who you are: your beliefs, body, mind, and spirit. Just as a building relies on its framework to stand strong, you thrive when you nurture and stay rooted in your personal foundation and your own care, allowing your true self to evolve and expand from a steady & stable base.
